Ysgol Rhiw-Bechan is a dual stream school. Children may receive their education through the medium of Welsh or English depending on the wishes of the parents. Equal status is given to both languages.
At Ysgol Rhiw-Bechan, we are designing a bespoke curriculum that has the experience and views of our learners and their families at its heart. We provide an inclusive environment where we embrace ‘difference’. Each and every individual is encouraged to reach their true potential with our four dragons (core purposes) at the heart of learning. This is one of the most exciting times for education in Wales!
At the heart of our curriculum are our 4 four purposes represented by our 4 dragons. Our curriculum will enable our learners to be:
