Clothing for PE and Games
PE kits can be obtained from Constructiv Clothing Ltd (online or shops in Newtown & Welshpool) or from Mid Wales Embroidery (online) otherwise children may wear comfortable T-Shirts and shorts. Heavy trainers are unsuitable for gymnastics; children may wear light weight plimsolls or bare feet.
Football kits can often become a cause of envy or rivalry so for this reason promotional sports wear should not be brought to school. A simple plain coloured shirt and shorts are all that are required. Children who represent the school will be provided with the appropriate kit for the occasion. In cold weather a tracksuit may be worn for games.
Please make sure that all games kit is marked clearly with the child’s name.
Swimming
Children should bring costumes and towels in a waterproof bag (a plastic shopping bag will do well enough). Children with long hair may wear bathing caps. Goggles should not be worn unless specific permission is sought and granted. There are swimming bags available to purchase.
